SIMPLE, EFFECTIVE, HEALTHY RECIPE

For some of us who are consumed with work and school activities and eating on time or the right food is not practiced as it should; here is a recipe that is simple, nourishing and satisfying, and can be eaten at lunch time in place of Kentucky Fried Chicken and Chinese food.

INGREDIENTS:

1 boneless grilled or steamed chicken breast, fish or tofu
1 slice toasted garlic or wheat bread
Tossed salad which includes: lettuce, tomatoes, green peppers, onions(optional), cucumbers, grated carrot,
                                            pieces of fruit of your choice, olives (optional) garnished with pineapple chunks
                                            cheese and salad dressing (optional)
1 cup cooked beans of your choice
1 glass fresh fruit juice

DESSERT: 1 scoop vanilla Flavourite ice-cream, yogurt or fruit
